CELEBRATING SHAVUOT 

6:00 p.m. Shavuot Dairy Dinner. Menu: Cold Poached Salmon with cucumbers and dill sauce, Cheese Blintzes with blueberry sauce and sour cream on the side, Brioche Rolls, Chopped Salad with romaine lettuce, tomatoes, cukes, red onion, radishes, peppers, chickpeas, lots of herbs, and a light red wine vinaigrette, Grilled Veggies. Cost: $25 for adults, $15 for children. Register below by Thursday, June 6 at noon.

7:00 p.m. Shavuot Services, led by Rabbi Rachlis and Cantor Braier, during which our pulpit/bimah will be dedicated in his honor for being our rabbi for over 3 decades. Rabbi Rachlis will share some thoughts about what his relationship to University Synagogue has meant in his life. All those celebrating birthdays and anniversaries this month will be honored and Yizkor prayers will be recited before Mourner’s Kaddish.

Our Oneg Shabbat will be sponsored by the Huffman/Sadikoff Family in honor of Samara Huffman becoming a Bat Mitzvah.
