7:00 p.m. “Honoring Jewish Learning” will be the topic of Shabbat services, led by Rabbi Rachlis, Cantor Braier and our Confirmation/Madrichim students. This service is for everyone, not just our Madrichim families and friends, for it celebrates Jewish learning and the Jewish future. We will also honor our Adult Education teachers and students and our “Basic Judaism and Beyond” graduates, and we will be paying tribute to Carol Richmond in recognition of the more than two decades she has devoted to teaching Basic Judaism and Beyond. We hope that all former students will come to honor Carol. Rabbi Rachlis will also speak about “Lifelong Jewish Literacy.”
