ENRICHMENTS AT USP

University Synagogue Pre-School's Enrichment program is the perfect complement to your child's regular school day. Designed to provide additional learning and fun, our program offers a variety of exciting options. From Sports and Movement to Science experiments and activities to social-emotional skill building, your child can explore their interests and develop new skills. Our different daily specialists work with your children's teachers to ensure a safe and engaging environment where children can continue to grow and learn.

It's a wonderful opportunity for kids to expand their horizons and make the most of their time after school!

AFTERNOON ENRICHMENTS

Afternoon Enrichments can be added to any HALF-DAY child's schedule for an additional fee, and are already included in a FULL-DAY tuition cost!

MONDAYS

MOVEMENT AND MOTOR SKILLS

Explore the inner workings of our bodies with Coach Tiara as she focuses on cultivating both physical and mental strength. Through plyometric exercises, she harnesses the power of speed and force, fine-tuning both large and small motor skills. Her program also enhances agility by emphasizing balance, body control, and coordination, creating a holistic approach to building strong bodies and resilient minds.

TUESDAYS

SCIENCE

Catering to our younger students, Ms. Gayle provides a rich array of sensory, exploratory, interactive, and hands-on science lessons. This approach instills a deep appreciation and passion for STEM and scientific pursuits by introducing a fresh concept every week, nurturing a love for learning through engaging and interactive experiences.

FIT, FUN, AND GAMES

PK ONLY

Fit, Fun, & games is offered to our PK students. Build your child’s gross motor skills and body awareness with weekly fitness class with Mr. Roman! Our PK students will learn how to follow directions, better their coordination, gain confidence, and so much more!

WEDNESDAYS

MOVE AND GROOVE TOTS

A high-energy preschool enrichment class where little ones learn hip hop–inspired dance moves, play movement games, and build confidence—all while having a blast with Coach Roman.

THURSDAYS

SPORTS

Coach Tiara introduces students to a diverse range of sports each week, from basketball and tennis to hockey, soccer, football, and more. This exposure allows young athletes to develop a broad skill set and a deep love for physical activity, emphasizing teamwork, sportsmanship, and a healthy, active lifestyle.

MY GYM

A cherished school-wide favorite, our My Gym instructors infuse their sessions with lively energy and humor, creating an environment that fosters self-esteem and confidence. They achieve this through a diverse array of activities, encompassing warm-ups, relays, tumbling skills, exercises, games, and more!

FRIDAYS

SHABBAT SING-ALONG

Join us in celebrating Shabbat at school every Friday at 12:30pm! Led by Rabbi George and Cantor Ruti, we warmly invite families to gather in the social hall for an enriching experience filled with a delightful repertoire of Shabbat songs and engaging activities, creating a wonderful start to the weekend.

TUESDAYS AND THURSDAYS

MUSIC WITH MISS STEPHANIE & MISS LESLIE

We’re excited to continue with our music classes! The younger students will have their music time every Tuesday morning with Miss Stephanie, where they’ll explore songs, movement, and rhythm. The older students will enjoy their music class every Thursday with Miss Leslie. We can’t wait to see our USP kiddos sing, dance, and make music together each week!

This year's lineup includes the post-Halloween performance by Puppets & Players, an interactive Passover Experience with Rabbi Sender & his Matzo Factory, and the ever-popular Foam Day – all designed to make learning an absolute delight.
