High Holy Days Observance And Celebration 5778
University Synagogue observes the High Holy Days with a unique blend of the traditional and our own special, modern touch. We are pleased to invite all our members and the community to join us for the High Holy Days 5778.
The High Holy Days are a wonderful time for families to celebrate together at University Synagogue. There are a myriad of ways for families to worship, learn, and have fun together.
Whether you’ve learned and forgotten, or the High Holy Day experience is new to you, we invite the entire congregation to join the first two sessions of our “Basic Judaism and Beyond” adult education classes about the High Holy Days on Wednesday nights, August 30 and September 13. These two complimentary sessions will focus on the how and why we celebrate Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. Check the synagogue calendar for updated information.
We have childcare and youth programming for children ages 2-12 – please take a look at this exciting program and register your child(ren) today! And be sure to join us for Sukkot and Simchat Torah.
Members and non-members can access all of the information about the High Holy Days at University Synagogue including schedule, tickets for guests, prayerbooks, parking, childcare and youth programming, the Yizkor Book and High Holy Days Greetings by clicking the links to the right.
