At University Synagogue, there are always opportunities – for all ages – to learn and grow. With two dozen Adult Education classes, a creative Religious School, a joyous Pre-School and Friday night service topics, there’s something for everyone. Even more, it’s wonderful that so many people take advantage of our profound and fascinating educational opportunities.
February and March present an exceptional number of possibilities, so circle your calendars now and plan to be with us.
Consider: Hasidic Tales (February 7), Women in Jewish History (February 14), Biblical Patriarchs and Matriarchs (February 21), Lifecycle (February 28), The Biblical Trial (March 2), Jews and Medicine (March 7), The Hilarious Book of Esther (March 14), Facing Illness and Disability With Courage (March 21) and our annual Kallah/Retreat on Jewish Spirituality and Tradition (March 28-30). Not a week will go by without a chance to grow in our Judaism and humanity.
There’s also our International Jewish Film Festival on so many dates, our Women’s Connection, a new semester of Jewish, Alive and American and the continuation of all of our adult, teen and child classes.
2014 is still new. Make it a year of Jewish growth and learning. Model a love of our tradition for your children and grandchildren and discover the beauty, insight, intelligence and relevance of our 4000-year-old journey. Be a lifelong learner and help create the Jewish future.
