Exciting Programs For Pre-Schoolers

 Breakfast Club, 7:00 – 9:00am

If the mornings are a rush for you and your family, this is the answer to a calmer start to your day. Children have a healthy breakfast at school…no more cereal in a ziploc bag in the car. Food allergies accommodated.

Half Day Pre-School Program, 9:00am  – 1:00pm

Our warm, nurturing, creative, developmental Pre-School includes the celebration of Jewish holidays, music, dance, indoor and outdoor play, art, stories, imaginative play and so much more. Pre-Schoolers’ garden in the vegetable patch – watering and taking care of their environment. They have many opportunities to observe the birds outside as we are near a bird sanctuary. Our NEW Pre-Kindergarten and Transitional Kindergarten classes introduce students to kindergarten readiness concepts.

Afternoon Enrichments – Funtimes, 1:00 – 2:30pm

Children attend special classes at University Synagogue. They may participate in clay, My Gym, dance, Hebrew, Sports, and cooking. Each day of the week has a different specialist.

Afternoon Childcare – Stay & Play, 1:00pm – 6:00pm

Children have a nap/rest time, snack and an afternoon of fun quality activities. Our teachers team up for a wonderful afternoon program of stories, art, music and dance.

Drop – In Childcare, 7:00am – 6:00pm

Children must be registered in the Pre-School to participate. Parents pay an hourly fee. Call before you arrive to confirm space availability. Teachers are waiting to make crafts, navigate an obstacle course, build or just play with your children.

Parent & Me, 9:00am – 10:30am

This social, fun and informative class is for parents/grandparents/caregivers and their 6mo – 2+ year olds. The class meets on Friday mornings beginning in September. Look forward to a guided playtime for parents and toddlers in a warm, nurturing setting. Enjoy developing new friendships with other parents as you and your child interact together. The majority of the class is free choice, with different learning centers to explore. Some activities might be messy, so dress appropriately. This program includes indoor play, outside time, circle time with music and a yummy snack.

Tot Shabbat, 5:45pm – 6:15pm

Join the Rabbi, Cantor and Pre-School Director once a month as they celebrate Tot Shabbat with young families and their children. Join us for Shabbat blessings, songs and a special story. All are welcome.
