bbq 2

6:00 p.m. Outdoor Shabbat BBQ Dinner. Menu: BBQ Kosher hamburgers and hot dogs and side dishes. Cost: $5/person; Children 5 and under are free. Click here to RSVP by no later than Wednesday, Aug. 16 at noon.

Note New Topic:

7:00 p.m.  “The Alt-Right, Neo-Nazis, KKK and White Supremacists: How Should Jews And All Americans Oppose These Hate Groups?” will be Rabbi Rachlis’ topic at services. The anti-Semitism and racism expressed in Charlottesville, VA last Saturday is a reminder that “domestic right-wing terrorism” is still a tragic reality in America today. How should people of good will of all backgrounds challenge – in word and deed and through legislation and political pressure – this murderous phenomenon in our politics? All those celebrating anniversaries this month will be honored.

The original topic: “American Jews Care About Israel; Does Israel Care About American Jews?” Has been moved to Fri., Sept. 15 at 7:00 p.m.
