FAMILY NIGHT AT UNIVERSITY SYNAGOGUE

April 20

4:45 p.m. “Shalom Shul” (parent and me) program, taught by our award-winning Pre-School Director, Heidi Kahn, includes art, music and story time. Free for University Synagogue members; $25 per class for non-members. RSVP to Sue Penn at spenn@universitysynagogue.org.

5:45 p.m. Tot Shabbat services with singing, dancing and Torah marching, led by Rabbi Rachlis and Cantor Braier, with storyteller Marilyn Price.

6:15 p.m.  Israeli Shabbat Dinner.  Click here to RSVP by Wednesday April 18 at noon.

7:00 p.m. Yom Ha’Atzmaut/Israel Independence Day Family Shabbat Services for All Ages, led by Rabbi Rachlis and Cantor Braier, with storyteller Marilyn Price.  Our K-2 Religious School class will also sing three songs and perform a little dance during services and all those celebrating birthdays this month will be honored. Samantha Cohen, Associate Executive Director/Vice President of Program Services at the Merage JCC will join us to briefly discuss the 2018 JCC Maccabi Games and opportunities for Jewish teens to be part of Team OC, volunteer and be a host family.
