Women’s Connection Newsletter – Q2, 2012

Issue No. 2 , April 2011

Dear Women of University Synagogue,

Since the rejuvenation of the Women’s Connection in March 2011, we have experienced incredible growth and success due to overwhelming support from all of you!

We are enjoying a variety of events such as:

  • A fashion day and luncheon at the home of Susie Rothfeder
  • An informative health and beauty presentation by Drs. Gersh and Sikorski
  • A summer evening’s potluck dinner in Turtle Rock
  • Our very unique Seder for Women
  • An eye-opening visit to the Skirball Museum
  • A thought-provoking Lunch and Learn session with Rabbi Rachlis
  • And our newly-developing Women’s Connection Speaker Series – our first to feature Linda Becker and Lauri Burns, whose moving stories of triumph over adversity are sure to inspire you

In addition, our special interest activity groups are well-attended, highly successful, and ready to welcome you.

The Women’s Connection recognizes that we could not have reached this level of success and participation without YOU. So we want to thank you for your support in making it all happen. On WEDNESDAY JUNE 6 @ 6:30PM you are invited to a one-year celebration of our rejuvenation. We will enjoy wine and appetizers, recognize all our AMAZING volunteers and enjoy some very special entertainment. There will be door prizes, too! There is no charge for this event. This is our opportunity to thank you for your support.

As always, thank you for making the Women’s Connection such an incredible success.

B’shalom,

Sherry Clark

Women’s Connection Chairperson
